The main purpose of our association's activities is to "To conduct and manage theatrical performances with both artistic and commercial qualities based in Tokyo and Hiroshima Prefecture, and to contribute to the development of Japanese arts and culture by strengthening the connection between urban and regional arts starting from Tokyo and Hiroshima Prefecture." By making Tokyo, the center of many artistic activities, and Hiroshima, the birthplace of the president and vice president, both bases, one of the major aims is to develop the arts and culture not only in urban areas but also in local areas, and to develop the arts and culture of Japan as a whole by lowering the barrier between urban areas and local areas.
