Business Overview
Up until now, they have connected Japan and the US remotely and created music through multiple recordings, but this time, by performing live with leading American musicians and recording and releasing them, Streeps will present a higher quality performance and lead to artist activities targeting not only Japan but also overseas. They will shoot a video and record a new song at the American studio of composer and producer YUKI KANESAKA. In addition to Streeps collaborator Iumi Nishida, young musicians with experience performing around the world will be invited to perform, including a female drummer from the Dominican Republic who has studied with Wayne Shorter and Esperanza Spalding, a bassist from the Berklee College of Music's special jazz program, and a guitarist who has performed at various venues. Through these sessions, new music will be created that combines groove and rich musical expression with Japanese language.
