Business Overview
The purpose of this project is to improve the resonance of 17 stringed Soh and 25 stringed Soh, which are multi-stringed Soh. This program aims to create a new world view of 17 stringed Soh and 25 stringed Soh with contemporary composers, and includes 2 works as a duo. The new work "Tsugaru for 20 5-stringed and 17 stringed" is a work that shares the world of Osamu Dazai at the base of the work by mixing the opinions of the composer Aki Mori and the players, and makes the most of the characteristics of the instruments. The melodies, which were familiar and delicate, were well received by audiences unfamiliar with Japanese music. The revised edition of "Yumekoi hi Kaidan," composed by Yu Kuwabara, tried to produce natural vocalizations in order to bring out the contemporary feel of the work, including the elements of voice, narration, lines, and chanting. This work, which is a genre of contemporary music but has an enhanced entertainment value, was highly praised among the performances. In addition, each solo featured the work of pioneers and presented the individuality of the players and instruments. Programs: "Tsugaru for 20 five-string and 17 string" (Composed by Aki MORI, commissioned first performance), "20 five-string sokyoku 'kokyu'" (composed by Akira Ifukube), "Transformation by Midare for 17 string solo" (composed by Ryohei HIROSE), "Yumekoi hikaidan 2023 revised edition" (composed by Yu KUWAHARA)
