Business Overview
Composer Ichiro Hirano continued to question his identity after many years of rigorous professional training. Based in Kyoto, he visited festivals and music in various parts of Japan, repeatedly reflecting and practicing. For more than 20 years since 2001, he has sublimated his works to be full of originality without being influenced by the current trends. This is Hirano's first solo exhibition in Tokyo, and he focused on his string and piano works, which can be said to be the origin of his creations, from "Sorano" op. 1 (2001) to his latest works. After thoroughly understanding the characteristics of the instruments through deep collaboration with the players, they unearthed the sounds of Oriental origin deep within the seemingly typical Western instruments and their compositions, and presented a musical experience beyond imagination through a radical method by master soloists such as Tatsuki Narita, Jidre, Keisuke Tsushima, Mari Adachi, Satoshi Yamazawa and Takushi Sato.
