Business Overview

In addition to performances of traditional Japanese performing arts such as Noh and Kyogen, modern works are performed by Noh actors and dancers, together with various instruments and songs. This year, in addition to the noh play "Tsunemasa" and the kyogen play "Shimizu," the original dance play "Ame nimomakezu," which is based on the life of Kenji MIYAZAWA, was performed again, making it possible to experience the diversity of expression on the noh stage.

[Koganei Takigi-noh]
Since its establishment in 1979, citizens of Koganei have continuously planned and held Takigi-noh performances.
Reijiro TSUMURA, a Nohgakushi who lives in the city, has been performing since the first performance. In recent years, he has invited co-performers from various genres to perform ambitious new works.
