Business Overview

In addition to traditional Japanese performing arts such as Noh and Kyogen, modern works are performed by Noh actors and dancers of modern dance and ballet. This year, in addition to the noh play "Tomoe," the kyogen play "Sado Kitsune," a dance piece based on the novel "Yabu no Naka" by Ryunosuke AKUTAGAWA was featured, and the performance made us realize the diversity of expression on the noh stage.

[Koganei Takigi-noh]
Since its establishment in 1979, citizens of Koganei have continuously planned and held Takigi-noh performances.
Reijiro TSUMURA, a Nohgakushi who lives in the city, has been performing since the first performance. In recent years, he has invited co-performers from various genres to perform ambitious new works.
