Business Overview
Taste, Time, Culture, Physiology ... Based on research, the various layers hidden in "food" are disassembled and reconstructed to launch the performance. In a performance in which the actual cooking time is used as the performance time, the performance is performed in parallel with the cooking. At the Work in Progress performance held in October 2022, she presented an unseen time as a performance, including the culture, history, and growth and longevity of ingredients while making pork kakuni. This performance held in March 2023 at the cafe space in Ikegami welcomed 2 members of Ne Na lab, Ryoka Iwagami (design), Jin Suzuki (juggling), Alan Hinokage (music), and Sakurako Saito (lighting). They performed with themes of connecting eating and dance in the process of cooking hamburgers, memories of the dining table, and family and care. At the end of the performance, food was served to the audience, allowing them to experience the theme of the work and create dialogue.
