Profile
[BUN Imai]
Composer, arranger, and percussionist. Born in Tokyo. Became familiar with music from an early age through piano, composition, drums, mandola, and other instruments. Studied classical percussion in general at the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, majoring in percussion instruments. He began performing professionally while still a student, appearing in the musical "The Cat That Lived a Million Times" (directed by I. Pint & A. Pollak) and participating in numerous stage productions. He is also active in a wide range of fields, including recording soundtracks for films and TV dramas, and supporting numerous artists such as Umitaro Abe. He also continues to take on various challenges in his own creative endeavors.
