Business Overview
On July 8, 2023, students of the Tokyo University of the Arts, who had achieved high results in competitions in Japan and overseas, gave a concert at the Kaze-no-Hall of the Mitaka City Arts and Culture Center, in order to give serious attention to small-group brass bands, which are increasingly popular among junior and senior high school clubs. All the performers and staff are current Tokyo University of the Arts. After the first performance in October 2022, which was as powerful as a large orchestra, this second performance focused on the theme of "the color of small orchestra brass band" and mainly focused on a mixed ensemble of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, as well as a flexible orchestra that can be freely changed according to the number of players. He also performed the supplementary score of Band Journal, a magazine specializing in brass bands, and was introduced in the August 2023 issue of a special feature on the use of flexible scores. In addition, he commissioned young composers currently studying at Tokyo University of the Arts to write new pieces for small-group brass bands and performed them for the first time. Some of the songs performed will be shown on the publisher of the score and the group's official YouTube channel.

In pursuit of a new style of brass band, this band is made up of students who studied at Tokyo University of the Arts and achieved high results in domestic and overseas competitions. The group hopes that junior high and high school students will discover the new charms and possibilities of small-group brass bands and that they will be able to "enjoy music" regardless of the number of students. In the 1st Concert in October 2022, they performed as powerful as a large organization, and in the 2nd Concert in July of the following year, they performed focusing on the first performance of new songs and the flex organization.
