[Events to be experienced] Kotsuzumi [Number of times a participant experiences the practical skills (recitals and rehearsals are included)] 5 times [Main instructors] Hideyuki Mochizuki (Japanese music festival), Sajuro Mochizuki (Japanese music festival)] [Features of the project] A total of 5 experience classes will be held starting in February 2024, and a short recital will be held in the last class. Also, for those who are not sure if they can continue to participate in the total of 5 trial classes, a total of 12 small hand drum 1 trial events will be held from November 2023 to January 2024. In this event, you can actually touch the instrument, experience the fun and depth of the instrument, and then apply for a trial class from February 2024. (Participants of the first trial event can apply for the trial class on a priority basis.) [Efforts for public relations at the time of recruiting participants (cooperation, cooperation, network, etc.)] We will have a video advertising the class broadcast on the monitor (along Kokusai-dori Street) in the storefront of Okadaya Fuse, the venue of this project. Advertise in Tokyo newspapers (sometimes regional newspapers). [Efforts to enable participants to continue practical experience after completion of the project (other than the project covered by this grant)] For those who would like to continue learning kotsuzumi as a hobby after completing the five experience classes, we will introduce the twice-monthly kotsuzumi classes held by the Ohayashi Project in Tokyo. In addition, for those who wish to take private lessons instead of group lessons, we introduce private classes run by members of the Ohayashi Project or instructors in convenient locations.

Profile
[Ohayashi Project]
our association is concerned about the declining Japanese music industry due to the fixed audience and aging of the audience, as well as the decrease in the number of performances, and is working to attract new fans of traditional performing arts.
The group's main activity is performing music in collaboration with Japanese and Western music, and has performed about 20 independent performances since its establishment in 2010.
In addition to performances, there are workshops and hands-on classes for children and adults.
