[Event to be experienced] Shakuhachi [Number of times a participant experiences the practical technique (including recitals and rehearsals)] 5 times [Principal Instructor] Meiichi Nakamura [Feature of the project] ・ In order to make the shakuhachi fun even for those who play it for the first time, many people will practice using familiar melodies. ・ We lend musical instruments for free so that visitors can come easily. - Prepare a mouthpiece that makes it easier to produce sound so that even those who cannot produce sound can enjoy it. - The instructor, Akiichi Nakamura, will hold an experience session that includes a traditional Japanese breathing technique called "mitsuki," which is one of his specialties, so people who want to experience breathing techniques can also experience the shakuhachi instrument. ・ It is thought that by conducting experience activities in a group, you will also feel the pleasure of playing music with friends who have the same interest, which will lead to easy continuation. [Efforts to publicize when recruiting participants (collaboration, cooperation, network, etc.)] ・ Create flyers and place them at concerts or display them at music stores so that people can take them in their hands. * Request posters to be displayed at stations where more people come and go. (Shinjuku Station, Meidaimae Station and Hachimanyama Station planned) • Public relations using SNS. (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) 【 Devise to enable participants to continue practical experience (other than this subsidized project) even after the completion of the project 】・ Group lessons for beginners were newly added to regular lessons because it is desirable that after the experience activities, more people become interested in shakuhachi and continue to take lessons. - Last year, we offered a free admission fee to participants of the trial class. This year, we are planning to offer special benefits to participants of the trial classes. ・ In addition to the music of the shakuhachi, the lessons include a wide range of music that can be played with the shakuhachi, such as pop music and movie music, as used in the shakuhachi experience class. - After the experience session, a refresher meeting will be held in April by the disciple of Meiichi Nakamura. At this concert, not only shakuhachi but also biwa (Japanese lute) and piano duets are performed every year. If you come to this concert, you will be able to deepen your interest, so we would like to encourage you to come to this concert and use it as an opportunity to continue.
