It is a concert of Japanese music composed by Chuichiro MATSUNAGA, a player of nagauta shamisen. Through performances of three works, one modeled on old nagauta, the other with jiuta elements, and the other completely original, they showed the current state of tradition and the charm of Japanese music. [Chuichiro MATSUNAGA Works Concert Secretariat]
It was established in December 2020 for the purpose of planning and managing concerts of Japanese music composed by Chuichiro MATSUNAGA, a nagauta shamisen player. In addition to Chuichiro Hitori's creative activities, the project aims to encourage the sharing and evolution of his creative and performance experiences with Japanese musicians of his generation and younger generations, and to contribute to the development and transmission of traditional culture.
