Reiwa 4(2022) Creation Grant Category III Projects that contribute to the improvement of the artistic creative environment [Long-term grant] [Single-year grant 1st term]

Business Overview
This project has set themes to consider the relationship between people, art, culture, and society, such as gender, harassment, communication, inclusion, and cultural rights and laws. A total of seven online lectures (including archived video viewing) were held with lecturers Hanako Wada, Kanoko Tamura, Naoko Shibayama, Miho Nakamura, Toko Tanaka, and Mia Nakamura as speakers. We share our knowledge with the participants, have a chat session after each session, and present a preliminary report. We also make the report collection available to the public for free after completing the course. Many of them learned about protecting each other's human rights, reducing discrimination, prejudice and barriers based on attributes, being close to each other, supporting and respecting each other. It is expected to cultivate a foundation for everyone to be safe and secure in various places such as expression and appreciation of the performing arts, to have a positive effect on the quality of the works, to revitalize the performing arts, and to improve the sustainability of the creative environment.

The Open Network of Performing Arts Producers (ON-PAM) is a nationwide and international membership network of people who work to connect artists, arts organizations and audiences. Promoters of the performing arts participate proactively, exchange and share information and ideas that are updated daily through their work, and form a place to develop activities. It also aims to contribute to the enhancement of the interests of the performing arts and society as a whole by defining and disseminating the social role of the contemporary performing arts and making proposals and suggestions for cultural policy.
