Business Overview
Led by Ema Yuasa, this research project explores various possibilities through dialogue and interaction with a wide range of people, using dance as a communication tool. In parallel with dance and dialogue workshops aimed at individuals with developmental disabilities, their families, and those struggling with life challenges, workshops for dancers centered on countertechnique (CT), a movement method for contemporary dancers, were held over a four-month period beginning in September. In December, CT founder Anouk van Dijk was invited from the Netherlands to serve as a mentor. Through numerous workshops and dialogues, participants learned about their individual differences and characteristics, and the insights gained from guiding each other through movement were sublimated into expression, resulting in a public showing, "Invisible Gradation," held in January. Concurrent talks and experiential workshops for audiences were also held, allowing people who would normally not meet in a fragmented society to interact and share emotions not felt in everyday life.
