Business Overview

Aiming to show the value and attractiveness of Mihoko Yasushima as a single performer, and to further improve her technique and expressiveness, this solo program consists of classical pieces, Miyagi-kyoku pieces (works by Michio Miyagi), and contemporary pieces. In the first part, two pieces of music, 'Akikaze no Kyoku' (Music of the Autumn Wind) (composed by Kengyo MITSUZAKI) and 'Counting Song: Variations' (composed by Michio MIYAGI), were performed in Japanese style, and in the second part, three pieces of music, 'Akikaze Fuyutsu' (Fantasy of the Autumn Wind) (composed by Satomi MIKAMI), 'Yure Aki' (composed by Tadao SAWAI) and 'Theme and Transformation' Wind 'by a 17 string solo' (composed by Yutaka MAKINO), were performed in Western style. It will be available on YouTube from December 18 to December 31. The applicant is the only performer. There were 15 staff members on the day.

She studied under Satomi Fukami from her childhood.
Graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Music, Department of Traditional Japanese Music, Sohkyoku Ikuta School, and completed a master's degree.
He won the 1st prize of Michio MIYAGI Memorial Contest, Kenjun Prize (highest) of Kenjun Memorial National Sokyoku Contest, Excellence Prize of Hase Kengyo Memorial Kumamoto National Japanese Music Contest, and Bronze Prize of Eiho TONE Memorial Japanese Music Contest.
He studied koto kumiuta under TORII Namino as a domestic trainee for young up-and-coming artists under the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
He studied jiuta sangen under Living National Treasure Toyama Seikin and modern sokyoku under Chieko FUKUNAGA as a trainee for budding musicians of sankyoku under the Agency for Cultural Affairs.
While performing in Japan and abroad and teaching young people, he also composed and arranged stage music and made various recordings.
He is a member of Miyagi-kai (teacher of Miyagi-sha Shrine), Nihon Sankyoku Kyokai, Mori no kai and Fukai Hogaku kai.
Members of the Deep Sea Ensemble, the Japanese musical instrument group Hobina.
