Business Overview
Description: One cold morning, I set out on a journey. He said he had arranged to meet her over the holidays, but she had disappeared for some time. I set out on a journey to find her, relying on rumors that she must be in the "city by the sea.". [Purpose of production] I tried to create a work for a single "you" whose face I don't know, by being close to "individuals" and addressing them individually. Through the production and release of new animation and video works, the project aimed to create new artistic qualities.

Profile
[Murata Kaori]
Graduated from Musashino Art University and completed a major in animation at the Graduate School of Visual Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He creates hand-drawn, ink and watercolor illustrations, drawings and video works. His past films include Fruits in the Bathroom (2017), Onna Tomodachi (Female Friend) (nominated in the student section at Animafesta Zagreb 2018), Our House (selected as the best student film at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival 2020), and A Sketch of a Natural Journey of Plants and Flowers (nominated in the Japan section at the New 1000 year-old International Animation Film Festival 2020).
