Business Overview
"Windows to the World" is a concert series by the Contemporary Music Association of Japan, which aims to promote international exchange through music and the spread of contemporary art music. In this project, European ensembles were invited to present the latest European works, which are considered to be at the forefront of contemporary music, and three new pieces composed by Japanese composers in collaboration with the musicians. Ensemble Lechelche has long been one of the leading musical groups in contemporary music, and its performances are highly regarded. In this performance, she showed off her excellent skills and high expressive ability. Since its founding in 1930 as the New Composers Association with the aim of spreading free and new expression, it has been carrying on its philosophy and activities related to music as a group of composers. In 1935, she joined the International Contemporary Music Association (ISCM), playing an international role. It became an NPO in 2019 and actively promotes the formation of a richer musical culture through concerts and music competitions, cooperation with local communities and schools, and international exchange activities.
