Business Overview
Russian composer Shostakovich's songs have many political and message elements, but they are also attractive as artistic songs. In Japan, however, only a few of his symphonies are heard, and his songs are rarely featured. With lectures and subtitles, four singers perform Shostakovich's works according to the range required by the works, presenting a new aspect of his works.

Profile
[Opera Organization ABQ]
A Japanese opera organization founded in 2020. He performs not only operas but also songs. An opera by Ernst Kruschenek (1900-1991) was premiered in Japan at the Kitatopia International Music Festival 2021 and attracted much attention. As for the works of music, he takes up composers such as Shostakovich, Ravel, and Pfitzner, and traces the trajectory of how composers faced words and composed music.
