Business Overview

"(((((," is a co-curated exhibition by Tomohiro Kubota and Mio Harada. The name of the exhibition "(((((," is a coined word that means open and inconclusive. The title of this exhibition, in which the characters for “parentheses ” are placed in an orderly line, expresses the behavior of this exhibition in which we stop to think about“ the obvious ” together with the audience. The artists participating in this exhibition are Ariwen, Ura Ayaka, Ohashi Tetsuro, Kurashiki Yasuya, Park Sang-hyun, and Hinoki Kazuhiko. Six artists from a variety of backgrounds attempt to rethink social norms that are taken for granted. What can we find after we break down the "normal" that we impose on ourselves and others? In this exhibition, a group of works dealing with themes such as gender, sexuality, nationality, and the body, which have been attracting attention in recent years, will be exhibited, and suggestions will be made for living lightly in this world.

Profile

[(((((,]
"(((((," is a fluid team that not only exhibits but also holds events and performances. Each book is characterized by dealing with problems that arise between individuals, others, and society.
The members discuss and develop the ideal place for the exhibition of works that are not bound by the conventional exhibition style. It also serves as a place for artists and curators to think about how art should exist. The group's discussion and information-sharing also serves the purpose of providing a means for them to continue engaging in the arts.
