Business Overview

In order for those who are new to the world of traditional performing arts and those who are not familiar with it to be able to understand more easily and enjoy the performance, the workshop and the new dance "The King's Ear is the Donkey's Ear" were performed in a different way from the previous "3rd Soten Performance," and two performances of the classic works "Shinkyoku Urashima" and "Yoshiwara Suzume" were performed with an intermission. After the show starts, we finish the greeting and move on to the workshop. In traditional Japanese music workshops, we carefully explain from the making of the instrument to the listening of its sound, but this time we shortened the introduction of the instrument to a very short length, and proceeded with the story of Aesop's fable "The Golden Axe" using Japanese instruments. The emphasis was not on individual instruments but on understanding the rules and overall image of traditional Japanese music. His next new dance, "The King's Ears Are the Donkey's Ears," took on the potential of Japanese instruments and dance by incorporating colloquial lyrics, musical compositions and lighting, and distinctive costumes, while building on the workshop. The latter two classics, the performance of "New Music Urashima" and the dance of "Yoshiwara Suzume," were performed with an explanation at the beginning to convey the highlights and points to listen to, in order to show the passion for the classics and the daily training of young Japanese music performers and dancers.
