Business Overview

Fukyoku 'refers to a series of activities in which a piece that was performed in the past but whose sound is no longer passed down and only the original Nagauta remains, is examined based on the information written on it, the entertainment and cultural conditions of the time, the social conditions, the works of other players who are thought to be the composers, and the Japanese music works of the same period, and the sound is added based on the examination. Through such concrete and practical work, he also aimed to deepen the performance, songwriting and appreciation of other existing classical pieces. This time, we took up the transformation dance “Doll's festival Kamiji no Momo, ” which was first performed by Nakamura Tomijuro I in 1758, and reproduced“ Kakitsubata, ” “Yamagatsu, ” and“ Nunozarashi ” out of the seven transformations, and performed them together with the existing “Harukoma Odori. ”. With the retirement of Masataro Imado, a Living National Treasure of the Nagauta shamisen, from performing on stage, it was established in order to pass down his works, art and heart to the next generation.
