Business Overview

On the occasion of Bangkok Bayenniel, director Shinoda Chiaki launched the Paranormal Museum pavilion in Bangkok's Nang Loon district. Due to COVID-19, they were unable to stay in Bangkok, so under Shinoda's supervision, they connected Tokyo and Bangkok online for two live streams and exhibitions. Taiko drummer Pin from Bangkok and Aokid from Tokyo performed a performance at Paranormal Hall 2018 based on the motif of a tiger's possession that has been handed down in Nang Loon district, and live streamed an online session based on the performance. The duo "Honest" held an online session with children in Bangkok and livestreamed it. Inoue Toru and Fukudome Mari, together with Shinoda Chiaki, hold a series of workshops with children in the Nang Loon district and devise a new charm. Inoue created "Re: souvenir" (commonly known as a "charm reproducer") in which the children's incantations played, and Fukudome illustrated "How to make a charm mask" (a charm choreography using faces and hands), which he created with the children. Both works were exhibited.
