Business Overview

This is an online and experiential play that takes place in sign language. A gimmick was placed to create a sense of immersion for both actors and viewers, and a mechanism was constructed in which viewers enjoyed the process of changing the story according to their own choices. Deaf people who use sign language as their first language planned, produced and performed. We prepared two kinds of tickets: detective tickets and peep tickets. Detectives talked directly with the actors and discussed with each other, while voyeurs watched the interactions between the actors and detectives and voted for suspicious characters, immersing themselves in the world of the story. In the after-talk, the participants shared how to create an experiential drama with sign language, how to devise it, their impressions after performing in it, and their challenges. The talk was archived for a week. Content created and provided by: International Language Lab. Planning and production: Fumi Kikunaga, Eri Makihara Photography and editing: Mika Imai Cast: Otokogumi (Atom Sunada, Makoto Nozaki, Mitsuo Itabashi, Satoshi Ezoe, Akito Imai)
