Business Overview

This project focused on things that are no longer needed or visible, such as abandoned objects and underground ground, and collaborated with artists to create works and hold exhibitions. Contemporary artist Isaka Hiiragi researched Sumida Ward from a geological perspective and presented an installation work of video works at Sumida Lifelong Learning Center (Eutoria).

General Incorporated Association Token aims to contribute to the promotion of culture and art broadly by providing a place for artists working in Japan and overseas to create and a place for citizens to communicate.
The Token Art Center, which operates as a base, regularly plans and holds solo and group exhibitions mainly of young artists. With the aim of developing a new framework for exhibitions through collaboration between curators and artists, the exhibition is held after a series of discussions on the artist's intention and the best method for presenting works.

While working for a design office and a production company, she has been involved as a volunteer staff in the art project "TERATOTERA" developed along the JR Chuo Line since 2011, planning exhibitions and film festivals by young artists in approximately 10 stores. The art space "Model Room" was opened in August 2013. He moved his space to Sumida Ward in 2019 and has been planning solo and group exhibitions at Token Art Center. Since 2014, he has served as Director General of TERATOTERA. It aims to create a place for young artists to communicate and to become a contact point between society and art.
