Business Overview
Dance New Air (abbreviation: DNA) is a dance festival that presents the "present" and "future" of dance in the Aoyama area of Tokyo. In 2021, artists who sensitively sense society and create a new wind gathered together. The keyword this time is "the ecosystem of the body and society." In nature, society, and the environment around us, various changes are occurring, and people and places are divided. How do we live in society? Each artist's gaze and thoughts overlapped with the question that suddenly and clearly emerged. Centered on the Aoyama area in Tokyo, works by six groups from Japan and overseas will be performed at six venues, including satellite venues in Tamachi and Kitasenju. In addition, the three weeks were filled with a variety of dances, including showcases by young artists, performances at exhibitions, dance film screenings at movie theaters, dance book fairs at bookstores, and "DANCE NURSERY!!" a popular workshop for parents and children.
