Business Overview

Third in a series featuring works by the late Sukeyasu Shiba, founder of the group. Four works, 'Shofuraku,' 'Yokobue Sansho,' 'Sanjuniso,' and 'Sangin Uchigaraku,' which have different compositions, phrases, and tendencies, were selected as a program to follow Shiba's footsteps, such as the creation of new gagaku and the restoration of pieces that had been lost opportunities to be performed. Various possibilities of the genre of gagaku were presented by performing 'Shofuraku,' which is a kangen music work of a basic form, 'Yokobue Sansho,' which is characterized by technical features, and 'Sanjuniso' and 'Sangin Uchigaraku,' which were performed together with Shomyo by Shichiseikai. In addition, as a leader of traditional performing arts, he held concerts with the aim of passing down his works and performance techniques to the next generation.
