Profile
[Sachiko Yoshihara]
At the age of six, he was taught by his mother, Kazuko SAKURAKI, and learned classical and Miyagi music from Mikiko OURA and contemporary music from Akiko NISHIGATA and Chieko FUKUNAGA.
In 2002, he graduated from the Ikuta-ryu Sokyoku Major, Department of Japanese Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. He graduated from the 43 class of NHK Traditional Japanese Music Technician Training Association. He graduated from the first class of the Institute of Modern Japanese Music. He received the Victor Award for the Promotion of Japanese Music Technicians at the same school. He won the runner-up prize at the National High School Japanese Music Competition. He received bronze prize and encouragement prize at Kenjun Memorial National Sokyoku Contest. Passed NHK audition.
2010: Held his first recital at the concert hall of the former Tokyo Music School.
In July 2015, he was invited to perform at the Saint-Riquier Festival in France.
November: 'Sachiko YOSHIHARA koto recital ~ Genealogy of koto solo performance ~' was held in participation in the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival.
He was in charge of writing 'Challenge to Wagakki Soh' (published by Shiobunsha). "Music-Making Ideas II" (Mother Earth Press).

He is currently a part-time lecturer of the Contemporary Japanese Music Course at Senzoku Gakuen College of Music. He was a part-time lecturer at Kumamoto University and Hirosaki University. He is a lecturer at the Institute of Modern Japanese Music. He is a lecturer at Todoroki Junior and Senior High School, Tokyo City University. Conducted concerts, Japanese music instruction, and Japanese music workshops in Japan and overseas. He was the grand master of Sakuraba Bikai. He was a director of Arakawa Sankyoku Kyokai.
