Business Overview
Tani Kenichi's new play is a collection of seven episodes based on interviews with dozens of people on the theme of pregnancy. Through the images of obstetricians and gynecologists in a fictitious local city, we can see the state of modern society: the declining birthrate, late marriage, gender roles, youth poverty, fertility treatment, abortion, moral harassment, anti-natalism, and gender differences. Based on the theme of "imagining a different sex/life," it was performed at Shimokitazawa Suzunari with two versions of A/B cast with male and female alternating.
