Business Overview

[Events to be experienced] Noh chanting, kata, shuriashi, prop making, kotsuzumi (small hand drum) experience [Number of experiences (per person/including performances)] 3~7 times [Main instructors] Naohiro Takeda (shite-kata Kanze school), Shosho Takeda (shite-kata Kanze school), Takashi Takeda (shite-kata Kanze school) [Features of the project] It is not just a vague experience of Noh, but a theme of "Adachigahara," so that you can experience Noh in a deeper and multifaceted way. In particular, the experience of making props is a part that ordinary people cannot know because it is usually done in the backstage. It is said that when you watch a Noh performance, you enter the stage yourself and watch it like you read a book, and by going through the end of the experience, you can enjoy the performance of "Adachihara" with a sense of unity. In addition, daimyo in the Sengoku period who loved Noh danced on the stage while watching Noh. This is a project where you can experience the traditional way of enjoying Noh. [Environment for participants to continue hands-on experience (practice) of traditional performing arts] Through the experience course with performances, we hope that participants will learn more about the fun of Noh and feel the pleasure of performing by themselves, which is not understood just by watching. In addition, since the place where the lecture is held is the place where the instructor usually practices, it is an environment where it is easy to continue to practice.

"General incorporated association Nohshokai"
It was established as a voluntary organization in 1992 for the training and support of Naohiro TAKEDA, a Noh actor of the Kanze school, but changed to a general incorporated association in 2015 for the purpose of spreading Nohgaku widely in the public interest.
In addition to the full-scale performance once a year, hands-on classes and student appreciation meetings are held. (Prior to the pandemic, the Tokyo University of Agriculture junior high school held a performance program for third-year students for 7 years from 2013.)
