[Events to be experienced] Ryukyu Classical Dance and Ryukyu Classical Music (Sanshin) [Number of times experienced (per person/including presentations)] 12 times [Main instructors] Natsuko Akamine, Maki Akamine (Ryukyu Classical Dance) Takumi Hosokawa (Sanshin) [Features of the project] This course is for beginners of Ryukyu Classical Performing Arts. The dance begins with how to hold a fan and how to walk, and the foundation of Ryukyu dance, Kagiyade Kaze, is mastered in 10 lessons. The sanshin begins with the basics of how to hold an instrument and how to read the kunkunshi, and "Anba-bushi" is mastered in 10 lessons, and recitals are held to rehearse for stage appearances, and then they perform on stage wearing costumes and makeup. [Environment for participants to continue practical experience (practice) of traditional performing arts] our association has opened Ryukyu dance classes and sanshin classes for the general public in Tokyo, and can introduce instructors to those who wish to continue as a lesson after the experience program.
