At the recital, they wore costumes used by experts and showed off their achievements. This course is for beginners, but experienced people can also participate. [Environment for participants to continue practical experience (practice) of traditional performing arts] Since the instructors belonging to our association are conducting their own practice business, we can introduce suitable instructors to those who wish to continue practice according to their individual requirements and conditions.

Profile

[Godo Kaisha Okura-ryu Kyogen Yamamoto Office]
A group of Nohgakushi belonging to the Okura-ryu Kyogen Yamamoto family. The Yamamoto family was a family of Okura-ryu Kyogen, which handed down the shikigaku of the Tokugawa shogunate. Tojiro YAMAMOTO, the 2nd (1864-1935) founded a voluntary organization 'Yamamoto-kai' and incorporated it in 2006 to succeed and develop its activities. At present, it is led by Tojiro YAMAMOTO, the fourth (Living National Treasure), and with Suginami Nohgakudo as its base, it is making efforts to popularize kyogen and train successors.
