Business Overview

In order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, this subsidy project has been suspended.

At a time when global warming is accelerating and the climate crisis is becoming a pressing issue, young leaders of the future are speaking out across the world to demand that governments decarbonize and people change their behavior. Under these circumstances, teenagers in Tokyo express their thoughts on the climate crisis through poetry and leading performances. The program consists of the following three stages. Stage 1: All participants take online lectures by climate and environment experts and poetry lectures by poets. They then write a poem about the climate crisis. On a separate day, they bring their poems and brush up their manuscripts through discussions with the poets. Stage 2: Participants in Stage 1 who wish to perform in the performance will be instructed in poetry reading by professional actors and rehearse for the performance. Stage 3: About 10 participants in the final performance read their own poems in a small hall in Tokyo. After the event, there will be an after-talk with commentators.
