Business Overview
Last year marked 10 years since the death of Kiyota Yamamoto, and we will look back on his work as a theater for the common people. Theater RAKU, a senior theater company with an appeal that is not bound by conventional theater, will perform Shakespeare's "A Summer Night's Dream" with nostalgic Asakusa opera, nursery rhymes, lullabies, favorite songs, and many original songs. 【 Theater RAKU】
A senior theater company presided by Jisho Nagareyama. This year marks 24 years since it began as a theater workshop for adults called "Rakujuku" in 1997. He arranged works by Shakespeare, Chekhov, and Shuji Terayama into period musicals. In 2013, he participated in the Victoria International Theatre Festival in Canada and won the Best Ensemble Award. In recent years, he has been invited to a theater festival in Taiwan and has received high international acclaim. Their motto is "People become energetic and happy when they see energetic and fun things."
