Reiwa 2 (2020) 1st Term Creation Grant [Single-Year Grant Program]

Business Overview
It focused on the hardships that anyone can suffer from, such as disease, and the process of overcoming them. In particular, the number of people who work while suffering from illness is increasing, and their reintegration into society is always balanced between illness (body), medication, rehabilitation, and social support. In the past, the sick were supported by their families and medical institutions, but now society tends to face the disease. This exhibition aims to disentangle the social positioning of disease from the perspective of art. Musician Midori Kubota created a score of abnormal brain waves of a patient with epilepsy and played it, and it was composed of a sound installation played by a speaker, a three-dimensional image of circulation in the body, and drawings with a motif of rehabilitation.
