Business Overview
The "Nikikai New Wave Opera Theater" is a series held once every 3 years, featuring performances by young singers who have completed the Nikikai Opera Training Institute within 3 years, and orchestral works by the newly established Baroque Orchestra in 2015. Large-scale performances of Baroque operas are rare even in Tokyo, and the series attracts the attention of classical music fans as well as classical music lovers. One of the highlights of this performance is that in addition to the orchestra performance led by Hidemi Suzuki, Yo Nakamura, who is highly regarded as a dancer and choreographer, will make his opera directing debut. In this performance, not only many dances by dancers who have worked with Mr. Nakamura for a long time, but also many choreographies by singers who have been through workshops and standing training for a long time, created a fresh stage for young singers.
