Profile
[Yumemakura]
Yumemakura was established in 2015 in cooperation with Akiichi Nakamura, a shakuhachi player who was also influenced by Jung's ideas, to read a libretto composed by Ayuo and to perform the work for music, "The Dream Diary of Carl Jung." Music created by Ayuo, a musician who has always lived in an environment where multiple ethnic groups, cultures, customs and languages intermingle, will be performed by voice, Japanese traditional instruments, Asian percussion instruments and an ensemble of Western instruments. This is a group of musicians who are familiar with the music of various styles and ethnicities, who fully demonstrate their technique, harmonize the music of different cultures and the sound of instruments, and create and transmit new music that can be said to be truly multicultural and multi-ethnic.
