Business Overview
The fourth performance produced by percussionist Sawako Yasue, focusing on composers in the field of contemporary music. This time, we took up works by Silvano Bussotti. Vocalists Akane Kudo and Takashi Matsudaira, who have deep knowledge of modern music, and pianist Hidehiko Hinohara, who is a disciple of Bussotti, were invited as guests to introduce Bussotti's works, which are rarely performed in Japan due to the special characteristics of the works such as graphic notation. In collaboration with the installation work “Marimba Ping-Pong ” by the art artist Rintaro Hara, a new work using Bussotti's poems composed by Yoichi Sugiyama was presented, expressing Bussotti's diversity as an artist who is active not only in composing but also in the field of theater and art.
