Business Overview
At a time when the world is facing the challenges of COVID-19 ahead of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, we will deliver the message of El Sistema's philosophy of "Play, sing, overcome difficulties" by holding a music festival for children. Although it will not be possible to gather and perform together in Japan from all over the world as originally planned, we hope to share joy and hope with friends from all over the world through messages from friends from all over the world and Japan, the screening of music performance videos related to each region, and the real-time online distribution of the concert. In the first part, children from Soma and Tokyo will perform Ametsuchi no Uta (Lyrics: Nozomi Hayashi, Music: Maki Ueda), a song about the beauty of nature in Japan. In the second part, Beethoven "Symphony No. 5 "Destiny"" will be performed together with a special orchestra composed of instructors and musicians who support the Soma Children's Orchestra on a daily basis.

Profile
[General Incorporated Association El Sistema Japan]
El Sistema Japan was established in 2012 based on El Sistema with the initial aim of helping children affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake recover their confidence and dignity through musical experiences and develop the ability to navigate their own lives. We started our activities in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, and are currently active in four locations: Otsuchi Town, Iwate Prefecture, Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture, and Tokyo. Regardless of family circumstances or disabilities, we value that any child can be exposed to music and learn in the form of orchestras and choruses played together. We aim to provide a place for self-expression and for music to connect people.
