[Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Tokyo Nikikai]
In 1952, the Nikikai was founded for the purpose of studying and presenting vocal music in general. He established the Nikikai Opera Foundation in 1977 and has played a central role in our country opera world, performing major productions and Japanese premieres of contemporary operas. In 2005, it reorganized and integrated its activities and organization with a vocal group 'Nikikai,' renamed it 'Tokyo Nikikai Foundation,' and became a public interest incorporated foundation in 2010.
