Business Overview
Part 1 is a workshop on "So," "Shamisen," "Shakuhachi," "Tsuzumi" and "Fue" by lecturers who train professional musicians at Tokyo University of the Arts. Part2 is an appreciation event that traces history with explanations by modern masters based on the archives of historical soundboards and precious videos. Both courses are free of charge and advance registration is required.

Profile
[Public Interest Incorporated Association Nihon Sankyoku Kyokai]
Based on the Dainihon Sankyoku Kyokai, which was formed in June 1940 by rallying professors and performers of each school of Nihon Gongaku Sankyoku under the Entertainment Control Ordinance at that time, it was established as a public interest corporation in November 1968. Later, in August 2010, it was certified as a public interest incorporated association and has continued to this day. A number of projects are being implemented in line with the objective of "To contribute to the development of Japanese music culture by promoting the spread of traditional Japanese music such as koto, sangen and shakuhachi, and promoting exchanges among schools of sankyoku."
