Business Overview

Held workshops to learn how to facilitate art creation activities with people with disabilities as part of the "Art Project to Nurture Diversity." In the modeling workshop, visually impaired people and sighted people developed modeling activities using the sense of touch, with the aim of discovering and developing human resources for the visually impaired from continuous activities. In the painting workshop, everyone from children to adults and people with disabilities can participate. Facilitators were also trained to encourage the participation of persons with disabilities in art activities. In the last week of the workshop, the works were exhibited in the gallery on the second floor.

[Creative Arts Executive Committee]
In 1991, Amiki Dance Troupe was established in 1990 for performances in Japan by the British Amiki Dance Troupe, which included members of the troupe with disabilities. Since then, he has expanded the scope of his work to include senior citizens and truant children, and together with artists, he has presented new possibilities of art in which people can talk about themselves. 1993 – present: Held summer art school performances and exhibitions co-created by persons with and without disabilities; 2001: Sponsored a Japan-UK joint production of; 2007: Commissioned the Minato Ward 60 Anniversary Commemorative Week "get familiar with the town"; 1994 – 2008: Community Dance Internship Program (2008: Agency for Cultural Affairs Human Resource Development Program); 2014: Established Integrated Dance Company Hibiki-Kyo, which has produced 7 independent performances. 2017 Held Plymouth, Bristol tour in the UK and received a great response.
