Business Overview

Theater Commons is a project that utilizes the "common knowledge" of theater to create "common land" in society. By "using theater" in daily life and urban space, in other words, utilizing theatrical ideas, it aims to present the form of "the coming theater/theater". Through theatrical imagination, different things and multiple times intermingle, and together with the artist, they create an experience that brings dialogues and discoveries that disintegrate everyday life. This time, 12 programs will be held at several venues mainly in Minato Ward. In addition, due to the impact of the novel coronavirus, some of them were distributed online. This year, in addition to theatrical performances by Shankar Venkateshwaran, Silke Juismans & Hannes Delere, and Akiro Koizumi, lecture performances by Nahoom and workshops by Kyunchome were held.
