Business Overview
Danno-kai holds these events with the aim of transmitting the culture of the classical art of Noh to people from all over the world and of all ages. In addition, in order for many people to learn about Noh, explanations are provided using tablets, and seats are set up for beginners and those with hearing impairments to understand. In addition, this association has first-class Nohgakushi such as Living National Treasures appear on the stage, and it is an association in which you can feel the high-level technique and expressiveness with your eyes and ears. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the organization, and many people have supported it for a long time. Every year, the group creates programs that meet the needs of the changing times and cultures. This year, as the 2020 Olympic Games will be held, programs such as "Great Hannya" and "Sanshaku" with the theme of "Peace" were performed to pray for peace and national peace. Also, for the purpose of contributing to Nohgaku culture and preservation activities, Noh costumes used on stage were displayed in the lobby so that people could see them up close.

[Matsunokai General Incorporated Association]
In 1962, 1000 Shun MATSUKI, the president of Matsunokai General Incorporated Association, was born as the eldest son of the Matsuki family of shite-kata (lead actors) of Kanze-ryu Nohgakushi for three generations. In 1966, he performed his first stage performance in shimai (Noh dance) "Oimatsu," and after graduating from Gakushuin University Junior and Senior High School, he became a private pupil of Shifusa TAKEDA in 1982 while he was a student of the Department of Japanese Music, Tokyo University of the Arts. After graduating from the university, he was allowed to become independent in 1989. In 2016, he established Matsunokai General Incorporated Association with the aim of passing on "Noh," which has the longest career on stage in our country. 1000 Shun MATSUKI, a holder of Important Intangible Cultural Property, works on stage, and at the same time, plans and holds workshops at schools and lectures in various places, and tries to popularize Nohgaku culture. At present (February 2020), there are 195 shite Noh numbers. The annual "Mayumi no Kai" will be held 33 times in 2020, taking over from the previous generation. He will continue his activities as a promoter of Nohgaku activities.
