Business Overview

A Tokyo performance of the "NEW HERO" series, a project to rediscover the region, by the unit "Sampin" made up of four actors. The aim was to create a performing art work that is more committed to the region and people and to depict new attractions and aspects of Tokyo by conducting interviews with actors themselves and creating them. This project was carried out after performances in Hokkaido and Okinawa, and some of the works created while staying in various places were also performed. It was created as a piece of work, incorporating the aspects of Tokyo, which is a city where people from various places and countries gather, and the episodes of people interviewed in Kitasenju. Formed in March 2015 by 4 dancers and actors: Shunya Itabashi, Wataru Kitao, Keizo Nagashima and Kan Fukuhara. Based on the concept of "Pieces of your life are the main part of someone else's," they weave together small and special pieces of life scattered throughout Japan into a. Members themselves conduct fieldwork, interviews, and create works. Not only the content, but also the unique style of writing, directing, writing lyrics, composing music, choreography, crutches, operating sound and lighting, reception for the performance, and organizing the venue, all performed by four people, drew attention.
