Profile

[Point de Vue]

Composers Teruaki Suzuki and Tomohiro Moriyama produce this concert series featuring works by Japanese composers. It has held regular performances since 2007, and in cooperation with up-and-coming musicians, has repeatedly presented new works by contemporary composers. It was planned as a place to find a mutual point of view (Point de Vue) based on the way of music and values pursued by each composer, and to exchange their consciousness and opinions. In addition, works by Akira Miyoshi (1933-2013), a leading contemporary Japanese composer, are regularly featured as invited works to introduce and disseminate his works.
