Business Overview
Contemporary Japanese theater has become increasingly diverse in recent years. In this exhibition, I will present the spread and connection of the period after the 1990s. Waseda University Dr. Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum
Since it was established by Shoyo Tsubouchi in 1928, it is the only theatre museum in Asia with a collection of approximately 1 million items related to theatre and video from all ages. our building has held exhibitions and drama courses on various themes centering on these enormous materials. In addition, the library is open to students and the general public to view books and audiovisual materials, and contributes to the spread of theater and visual culture by digitizing ukiyo-e and other materials and publishing them on the Internet.
