Business Overview

GEORAMA is an animation festival that started in 2014. Under the theme of "expansion and deviation of the concept of animation," it consists of a screening program that gives a panoramic view of the achievements of animation in the world, and a unique event that crosses with other genres such as music and art. "GEORAMA 2016" will introduce the world's most advanced animation trends and at the same time present new animation expressions that can only be born in Tokyo. With a wide variety of screening programs, the film aims to break through the sense of stagnation surrounding animation and expand its potential.

[Nobuaki Doi (Representative of New Deer)]
Born in Tokyo in 1981. He completed a doctoral course at the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, the University of Tokyo. Director of the New Chitose Airport International Animation Film Festival. While conducting research on non-commercial and independent artists, mainly Russian author Yury Norstein, through part-time lecturers and teaching assistants at universities, he has also been actively involved in activities to widely introduce animation works from around the world through planning screening events and writing as a member of groups such as Animations Creators and Critics and CALF. He has many experiences as a jury member and curator at overseas film festivals. In 2015, he established New Deer Co., Ltd. Actively start activities to connect the world's animation talent to the place where it should be connected.
