Business Overview

Set in the city of Shibuya itself, this music festival features a musical experience that everyone can enjoy, regardless of race, gender, age or disability, even if they are not familiar with music or can't play an instrument. Examples include the "Anyone's Session," in which people who have never met perform together; the "Machinaka Stage," in which citizen artists recruited from the public perform at various locations around town; and the "Music Workshop," in which even people with no musical experience can enjoy themselves. These efforts will be made possible by the efforts of volunteers in Shibuya.

Aiming to foster city pride in Shibuya, which is being renewed in preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, this project aims to increase the number of citizens who voluntarily and proactively engage in music culture activities. For that, Shibuya Zunchaka! This is not a top-down production with a producer, but rather a project that is led by citizen volunteers from the start and accompanied by professionals in various fields who act as guides to ensure the feasibility, safety, and intensity of the experience.
