Business Overview
This program provides children in need of social care and children with limited learning opportunities due to poverty, disability, etc., with a place to learn through the expression of contemporary art works and the words of artists. The program aims to create a society in which it is easy for anyone to envision the future by conveying the breadth of the world while drawing out the "imagination" of children. In modern Japanese society, it is said that there are approximately 46000 children who, for various reasons, do not have guardians or who are not suitable for guardianship. In addition, the relative poverty rate of children is on the rise, and it is said that one in 6 children, or about 3 million children, grow up in families below the "poverty line." The decline in the academic ability of children who grow up in socially harsh environments and disparities are becoming a problem. Through this project, in cooperation with human rights organizations, NPOs, and organizations with specialized knowledge, we aim to create multiple learning circuits for children, create mutual exchanges with adults who have different knowledge and values, and foster an environment in which each person views matters as his or her own and works to resolve them.
