1980 Deaf people who like theater gather to form the Tokyo Deaf Theater Circle. 1982 Tot Foundation was established and renamed 'Nippon Deaf Theater Company' as an auxiliary theater company. 1983 Debuts sign language kyogen at the World Congress of the Deaf and Theatre Festival in Italy. 1987 Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Award. 2002 Prime Minister's Award. 2015 Sign language Kyogen Satogaeri performance (Italy and France)
